October 1, 2018

Greetings Parent(s)

I would like to thank all of you for taking time out of your busy schedule to speak with me regarding your child's academic progress.  If you were unable to attend,  please notify me of a day/time you would like to come in or have a phone conference.

Today was our first STEAM Day activity for this year. Students had an Amazing Time! They were introduced to engineering by working in teams of 4-6 to solve a problem. They created a tool using a string and a rubber band that could be used to stack a group of cups into a pyramid. Many of the teams were able to accomplish this challenge. Please ask your child about today's experience.

Killian Family Fun Day will be Saturday, September 29th from 11:00 - 2:00.  There will be vendors, food and fun.  I hope to see each of you!
