Greetings Parents, 

We just wrapped up another wonderful week! Students worked hard and stayed focused as we reviewed skills for our upcoming MAP Test. The testing dates are March 26th - March 27th. Please work with your child on the assigned Reading Works passages and the online site "PREP DOG"  @   http://www.prepdog.org/2nd-grade.htm to help prepare them for success.    

On Wednesday,  March 28th,  students will have an opportunity to participate in “Market Day”. This will be a great way to help students get a understanding of economics by creating a business plan, producing a good or service and selling it to their classmates in a “market place” setting.  Market Day will be a fun and exciting  activity that will  give students  a hands-on experience of how the economy works.    Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
