We have had another great week at Killian!
Next week will be very short due to Thanksgiving.
School will be out Wednesday, November 27th - Friday, November 29th. Students will return on December 2nd. I hope each of you have an enjoyable time with your family and friends.
We will not have a story of the week. Students will receive activity sheets as homework assignments for Monday night. Newsletters for December 2nd - 7th will be distrubuted today for those students who would like to get a jump start on their homework assignments.

Field Studies
Payments for the 2019- 2020 Field Studies are currently due and should be made online through Parent Portal. After making your payment, you must electronically sign your childś premission form. Please use the steps below to assist you with this process.
1. Log into Parent Portal at https://psapp.richland2.org/public/
2. Scroll down on the left side of the screen. You will click on “Student Fees”
3. To sign permission form(s) click on the Permission Form icon. The permission slip form will pop up. Be sure to complete the form in full and click the BLUE SUBMIT button at the bottom when done.

Your child can login to Reading Works to get extra practice with their reading skills. This site has nonfiction & fiction passages with curriculum and supports designed to improve comprehension. Your child will work on some of the passages at school. However, they may work on any passage at home that he / she chooses. This is non graded and serves as practice.
How to get students to their assignments

3. Tell your students that their default password is 1234

next few weeks, Killian will be celebrating AVID Week. The AVID team
members are requesting that you send in a photo of yourself in
your college gear or work attire to be displayed on our AVID wall no
