Night Shift

This week’s reading selection: Night Shift

Summary: As most people get ready for bed, some are getting ready for work on the night shift. Street sweepers, security guards, truck drivers, and bagel bakers are just some of the people who work between dusk and dawn.

Essential Questions: Why do some people do their jobs at night? In what ways do people who work at night help their community?

DISCUSS with your child some of the jobs that people do during the night in your community.
