Class News

Ms. Dailey's Classroom News

Getting into the routine of second grade has been a real task for some of our students, but they are working hard to be great second graders. Learning new vocabulary words, having  ten spelling words each week, knowing how to write good strong sentences,  using the correct spelling, capitalization, and punctuation in each sentence has been a real challenge. Reading with a good fluency rate is something they will continue to work on the entire school year and learning their math facts so that they will no longer have to count on their fingers. These are just some of the things that are a part of a second graders’ daily routine. It has been hard for some students to get back into the full swing of school but with our parents help and support,  I'm confident that we will have a year filled with success.
Have a Great Week!
