Happy New Year

I am so excited to see students return back to school on Monday, December 6, 2020.   I am sure they will have  many fun and exciting things to share  about their winter break.   Now it's time to get back to learning and adjusting to the routines of school.

This week’s reading selection: Gross Jobs 

Summary: While they take on tasks that some might consider unpleasant, people who do “gross jobs” are vital to every community. Plumbers, garbage collectors, custodians, and pest control specialists help keep communities healthy. 


Essential Questions: 

What types of jobs help keep your community clean and safe? Why are all jobs essential to the well-being of your community? DISCUSS with your child some of the jobs they think are “gross” and how those jobs serve a community.
