The Daily News                                      January   2nd -  6th 

Happy New Year!
I am so excited to see students return back to school on Tuesday, December 3, 2017.   I am sure they  will have  many fun and exciting things to share  about their winter break.   Now it's time to get back to learning and adjusting to the routines of school.     

Our story for the week is Music of the Stone Age.  We will focus on the skill of author's purpose.   Students will take their  assessments on Friday.  Homework assignments will be given each night.            

I will administer the mid-year DRA assessment.  Students will be tested individually on reading comprehension and fluency.

Homework Each night, students should complete (1) reading comprehensions sheet, (1) spelling - vocabulary choice board activity and (1) math activity sheet.
NOTE: Reading comprehensions sheets and spelling-vocabulary assignments should be returned Friday in your child's blue communication folder.
Math should be returned DAILY.
